I’m thinking this is probably more of a question for Ivar or someone who lives here: Any idea where I would go to get something laminated (small 6x9cm)?

Got there at 10:00 this morning when they were just opened. The woman working there knew right away what I wanted when I said (as per Ivar) “Plastificar por favor.” She took my four items and disappeared into the back work area and soon reappeared with the items laminated within a single large sheet, and trimmed them perfectly with scissors. I really needed it done and really didn’t care how much it would cost. She handed the finished items to me, went to her computer to ring it up and wrote the amount down for me . . . 1.40 Euros. It was everything I could to not burst out laughing. I gave her 5, which still wasn’t enough and insisted I didn’t want any change.

By the way, Santiago de Compostela is full of exuberant youth groups marching and singing and being wonderfully joyous and spirited. It is quite uplifting to see and sometimes to inadvertently be in the middle of. Not sure there could be a happier place on earth at this moment.

And you can get it in almost all other print shops and office supply stores.
