I'm currently on Norte and for the first time ever on a Camino - literally an hour ago - I bought some from a pharmacist as I got "savaged" last night in Santillana del Mar. I have also bought some anti-histamine cream to reduce the itch and inflammation. If you have a tendency to be bitten (some folk do, some simply don't) then, yes, do get some and apply. I am told I have "sweet blood" and am an attractive proposition to biting insects....maybe that's the case
