Camino Frances , September/October 2018
In China, very few people have ever heard of Camino de Santiago. During my Camino, many people, my friends, my friends’ friends, my friends’ friends’ friendsqw .... followed my everyday progress. They are very keen to know more about Camino. Since I came back, I have been invited to give talk about my Camino experience, and there will be few more talks arranged in the coming few months. I have noticed that my audiences are mainly interested in three things, the history of the Camino, the local Spanish culture along the Camino and the inspirational stories from pilgrims. They were deeply moved by the kindness from local people, the friendship and comradeship between pilgrims, the perseverance that every pilgrim holds to accomplish his/her goal, the miracles people believe happened on the Camino etc.

The stories from my own trip are very limited. I hope to hear more from you. So, if you have beautiful stories, inspirational stories and if you are willing to share with others, I am eager to hear from you. You can reply here in my thread so everybody can share or, if you prefer, write to my email account ho-family@163.com. Thank you!

At least three of my audiences have decided to take the Camino in the next two years.

Attached is my new Camino painting, Knight Templar castle in Ponferrada. Love to share with you!38ACEFCE-FB09-4282-82CC-EFE1696CB8BD.jpeg

Wei Ho, ni hao!
I remember that series of paintings you posted a while ago - they were all so special, each one in its own way.
So it's great that you are continuing to share them. You should do an art installation somewhere.....

Meanwhile there are so many inspirational stories here, in threads...there was one about camino angels not long ago. The search function will no doubt bring up lots of possibilities.
Here is one other thread that was wonderful:
And then there are the suggestions for related topics below. 🔻

Lovely to read your post. Your beautiful painting is an inspiration to me because I will begin the Camino Invierno from that very spot in June!

Thank you for sharing with your experiences with your community and for sharing your talent with this community! It is a beautiful painting that brings back wonderful memories of that place along my Camino. Ultriea! elle

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Following this thread because I'm interested too. Love your painting!
