Camino Frances Sept 4-Oct 12
Hi I am starting the Camino Frances in SJPP Sept 7. Am from the USA. Looking to get from Pamplona to SJPP Sept 6 … either by bus (is it running?) or taxi if no bus (would love to share) .
Am 70, excited and a bit anxious. Trying to tie up loose ends to be able to be away for 6 weeks.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Buen Camino!

Yes, the bus is running. Once a day leaving Pamplona at 12:00, arriving St Jean Pied de Port at 13:45. When looking on the ALSA website make sure to spell out Saint.

If you'd like to add your name to the list of those starting the Camino in September click here.

Just listen to your body and take it slow and know how lucky you are to walk. Your fears will soon melt away. Make sure you have lots of water, sunscreen and get yourself one of those reflective UV umbrellas to protect you from the sun.

PSVarland, It looks like I'm a day or two behind you. I arrive in SJPdP the evening of the 7th, and am spending one full rest day before I begin. I'm an American woman, 68. I do luggage transfer the entire way, carry an REI green daypack. My third Camino, second alone, for me the best way. Hope to see you along the way. Feel free to get in touch by sending a private message. I can what's app with you If you like. If so, send contact info. Buen Camino.

Hello! I’m also wanting to go from Pamploma to SJPP on Sept 6. I’m hoping to go earlier in the morning than the noon bus. I’m Canadian, retired woman attempting my first Camino. Please message me if you might be interested in booking & sharing a taxi.

Hi! I will take the bus for 22 euro rather than share a taxi which I think would cost double or more … but hope to meet you along the way!!
