Introduction -Researching and Planning for September and October 2023, Camino del Norte from Bayonne to SdC then Finisterre

Time of past OR future Camino
September-October 2023
Hi, my name is Joe from Texas. I am just starting research and serious planning to do the Camino del Norte. Great to find this site.
My best to all on this journey, at whatever stage.

Moderator note: CDS changed to SdC in title

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
@MangoJoe, welcome to the forum. The Norte is not a route that I have walked, but plenty of others have. I take it you intend to walk to Santiago, often abbreviated as SDC from Santiago de Compostela. The abbreviation CDS might cause confusion if you are using it with the same meaning. That abbreviation seems to be used variously to mean Camino de Santiago or any other route that includes an 'S' name.

Join the club. I suspect we all have at some time or other.

ps you will soon get used to the jargon, although you might find some interesting differences as those of us who prefer British English have a gentle jibe at our American friends when they use what they might think is an unoffensive word that has a quite different meaning elsewhere in the world!
