I have just been doing some research on CSJ Pilgrimage as I have two months off next year. Unfortunately its Jan and Feb so if anyone has experience or information regarding weather and accommodation on the Vía de la Plata at that time of year will be most grateful.

Thank you Sil, this is very useful information.

I will move this post to the Via de la Plata section, so others looking for this type of information can find it easily.

I'm playing with dates, and flights and all that good stuff. My preferred VdlP dates at this stage have me starting right in the middle of Semana Santa. So my thoughts at this stage are...
Has anybody walked this route at this time of the year (last week in February 1st 2 weeks in March)?. If so are there albergues open and are the conditions OK? Thanks
