I just made these buns to drop on my neighbours’ doorsteps with an invitation to join us at our online church service tomorrow at 10am.
Then I realised I can’t share food when we are in lockdown so maybe you can enjoy one - and if you’re wondering what to do on your Saturday night (you northern hemisphere folks) feel free to come to our service with my family. But let’s not talk about it coz that would contravene the rules.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

@VNwalking we live down a right-of-way with ten other houses and we are all well-connected.....we usually talk to each other out on the driveway, but with lockdown we made a chat group.
So I told them all - but they agreed we shouldn’t be sharing food like this. We did all make basil pesto this afternoon coz one of the families pulled out the last of their summer basil and put it in a massive bucket on the driveway so we could all come and help ourselves. Basil is washable - hot cross buns, not so much.

So, freeze them and keep them till Good Friday!

Thankfully we are in lockdown as a group of six - and 88-year-old Grandpa is next door (we are cooking for him too - just leaving his food on his patio table and he picks it up from there).....so between us all we’ll manage to eat them ;-) Unfortunately/Fortunately our freezer is full.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Sadly we will have to go without hot cross buns this year - I can’t find any flour or yeast in San Diego so I will just savor yours - they look delicious 😋

You Kiwis always make me smile! Last September I trekked the Camino Portuguese, Lisbon to Santiago, but four months earlier I trekked most of the length of New Zealand, from the South Island at Invercargill to the North Island at Taupo, and I found you Kiwis some of the friendliest people in the world. I ran out of time and didn’t make it to Cape Reinga, but my goal is to come back to New Zealand and finish it one day, along with the Camino Norte that I had planned this May. Thank you Kiwi for making me smile again!

If you’re the bloke with the bad knee, then I’ve already read it! I may have even messaged you about your Wheelie. But I am renowned for mixing people up so I’ll take a look after our church service which is about to start.

I HATE YOU!!! I cannot believe it, Invercargill to Taupo???? that is some trek, man, NZ is something else, which way did you follow? Did you go along the Alps, or did you take the East Coast, the plains? How long did it take you? I would love to go back to Wanaka and Nelson of all the places in the South Island.

It took me almost three months. You can see my blogs on that trek at tedtrekking.com. Love trekking in New Zealand! The people there were the best thing!
