Irun to San Sebastián - lost or injured dog?

We walked Irun to San Sebastián yesterday, Friday. What a great walk! About an hour or hour and a half before reaching San Sebastián we could hear a dog howling some distance below the track, closer to the coastline. We weren’t sure if it was lost or injured. As my Spanish is very minimal, I didn’t know the word/s to call a dog to you, to just try to get him up to the track. Many people walk and run along that track with dogs, so he may have just gotten lost. If he is local, I’m sure he would be able to find his way home once he were to get to the path. I don’t advocate letting a dog follow you along The Way, but I hope this lost soul can find his way home, perhaps with just a bit of help from someone.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
