Is anyone aware of event(s) on Saturday and Sunday October 15 and 16 that will impact train service between Sarria & SdC?

Currently there are bookable trains listed for the preceding and the following weekends, but at the moment there is nothing for Oct 15 and 16. The Renfe website has the usual blurb that one sees a few days before the opening of ticket sales, but it's been static for quite a while now: "The requested train is not available for sale at the moment. Please try again later and we apologise for the inconvenience."

It also seems that trains to and from other destinations are not currently bookable for that particular weekend. Though I haven't done an exhaustive search, I have looked at those to and from Madrid, Lugo, Ourense and Barcelona, and currently there are no bookable trains in or out of Sarria until after 1845 on the Sunday evening.

I recall there was maintenance on the line around Sarria a few months ago but trains were still running and, if memory serves, they were replaced with buses as an as-needed work-around.

I did send an email inquiry to Renfe customer service a few days ago, but no response - as yet.

Can anyone shed light on this curious situation?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
If it is a media distance line, I have seen a few stories in the news about lines being full due to free and reduced computer fares. There was a story this week on one line where passengers were asking to be allowed to stand for the journey. Might be an issue?

So, to answer my own query, and information for anyone else who may be impacted: on Renfe website today, a few bookings passing through Sarria environs have opened up, though not all the normal schedule is available (as yet). And, as I suspected, there is line maintenance going on that is affecting service in the area. For example this blurb:

"Due to infrastructure improvement works, the route Lugo - Monforte de Lemos will be by road, from where it will be continued by train. Pets and bicycles are not allowed on this route."
