We walked the coastal route and the Espiritual in June. Combarro is a lovely town, very touristic. The Espiritual is very beautiful. We followed also the route del Piedra de Agua. It's worth to do it !!

Greetings Ajrk!
I am to arrive in Portugal on Wednesday, the 13th. (from the Midwest in USA). I plan to stay in the Lisbon area until Sunday... doing some sightseeing before starting Camino. I will be staying at Poet's Hostel. Lmk if you plan to do any specific sightseeing & when you are actually planning to start your trek. It's always nice knowing a fellow pilgrim or two before arriving! I just finished the Frances Camino in July, and am very much looking forward to walking the Portuguese route!

Buen Camino!

Hi Lisa
As I write this I am about to head to Dublin airport for my flight to Porto as that's where I start my Journey. Like yourself I completed the Frances but mine was Last April/ May and loved it so all excited to be starting out again although this time a much shorter route due to Time constraints You will Love Lisbon. I will be about two weeks ahead of you but let me know how you are getting on
Buen Camino
