Is it safe to walk to the Airporto Hostel at midnight?

Camino Portuguese (2018)
I'm eagerly anticipating my first camino at the end of June. My flight to Porto arrives at midnight and I've booked a bed at the Airporto Hostel, which appears to be a short walk from the airport. Could those of you with experience tell me whether it would be safe to walk to the hostel alone, or if a taxi would be necessary at that time of night? (I understand that busses and shuttles will be unavailable at that time.) My instinct is to walk, but I don't want to be foolhardy.

Its in an industrial area just off the main road 10 minutes walk from the airport, quiet at night, cant imagine a taxi costing a great deal, theres a Metro station near by,but a taxi would be less hassle,if your not sure ask the owners advice, they are nice helpful ladies.

I would go for a taxi. Why take a risk .

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Porto airport is really small and the area around it looked quite safe from this woman's perspective ;-) If it were me, I would walk ... BC SY

I would walk but I'm portuguese and I feel safe in my country.
If I was in a foreign country I would probably take a cab.

My guess is that it would be fine to walk.As I remember, you can just follow the tram tracks down a main road, the hostel is a few mins walk away down a turning to the right.

Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
