Is the Camino a state of mind or state of being

A simple philosophical question.

Since if it is a state of mind then it may be a question of perception...

If it is a state of being...then it is a question of perception

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Sadly I never really understand the posts of @William Garza
I'm far too dim witted
Its an idea that i was worrying like a bone for a bit.

Someone said reality is what we ...""perceive" in its entirety.
For the state of mind, is it reality, or what we wish to be the reality.

Still working out the idea, is perception a nature of reality or "the" nature of reality.

"A nature"-being a species,a facet,one side among many of it...

Will the Camino be what we want it to be and go away fulfilled in some way

Or does it by its very nature..fullfill and we we go away.

Its a question i think lying between the rational mind and a simple unreasoning.

I need to have a Dram or two of Yamazaki 12 and quit bothering you poor victims with larks of my inquisitive nature😀!
You guys have been there.im saving and waiting for the day we are free from..free enough from natural occurrances.
Your experience..invaluable! to mere ideas i can only entertain from the dirty window of distance and inexperience.
Please dont mind my ramblings🙏

Don't overthink it @William Garza

The Camino just is............

And can be, whatever you want it to be ;)

Except a hike of course!
I think we put that to bed on another thread. 😎

Alas
Overthinking things is my super power!
Lol.i gave myself a headache doing just that
What my roads did,was burn away the busy mind and I simply existed in the evanescent moment to moment
I hope when its all said and done i will find that fullness of emptyness

William, the 'problem' is that we do not perceive the phenomenal universe directly. Our senses input data to the brain which interprets it and produces a 'best guess' ... but the doubt is because we therefore perceive ourselves as separate from the universe, from what we perceive, that there is a 'me' and a 'that' - we are ego led - but this is a delusion - we are an unseparated part of the entire universe and can never be separate - there is only 'one thing'.

Once this is realised the doubt (and questions) disappear - this is the state known as enlightenment - a sudden moment when one becomes what one actually is, a conscious and aware being in oneness with everything else ... that awareness, that state of mind, that perception, has been described by a medieval Zen master as "not one, not two" ;).

That is the silence inside.

When "I"cease to be and simply flow.
The "line" disappears between what i want and turns into what is.

There in the silence?

There is no begining nor end...and yet the beginning and ending are all wrapped up in simply being..

And then the great disappointment of leaving that place and time because in my case..it was time to go home and face the mortal coils and strife.

It is a state of being i think..a vessel to reach that oneness..
