It's been a year since I walked from St. Jean to Santiago. Here is a video I put together if you would like to check it out. I still think of my experience almost daily. This forum was such an incredible blessing helping me to get ready and great tips on how to prepare. I flew to Spain alone from the USA and began walking on May 17th 2016. I met such interesting people along the way and God provided me with guidance, courage and a blister pack! haha!!! Enjoy! Angie C.

Thank you for beautiful reminder of all I miss about the Camino.

Beautiful memories you've shared. Friends of ours are currently walking the Portuguese Camino having started in Lisbon and currently only 100km from Santiago. My wife and I were thinking to undertake that walk next year, however, your video has rekindled those wonderful memories of "our" Camino (March 23 to May 5) last year from St Jean PdP and now we're contemplating returning to walk the same route with different stopovers. Our first week was mostly below zero degree morning starts, with our attire a little different to yours.... for obvious reasons.

Lovely, it set me back to 2011 when I finished my first complete CF.

But, Angie, please next time do take photos and videos with your phone/camera horizontally. Now it feels like I'm looking those beautiful vistas through prison cell bars ;)

Regards!

Angie, god bless you for this beautiful montage. I cried. I'm still fresh from completing my first CF- Fisterre-Muxia end of April 2017 and haven't yet sat to review my Camino, it's like I want to keep living it and not make it a memory. Thanks again ❤️

Thanks for the video of your Camino. We are in Sarria now and already this Camino is coming to an end. It was fun watching you and friends as we are experiencing the same feelings and emotions.

Wonderful!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Oh, Angie! That was such a wonderful video. I was glued to it for every moment. It so beautifully captures the spirit and so many of the best landmarks of the Camino. I relived my own through yours. Your self control in the summary clip was commendable. I cried for two days straight at the end and I could tell that you were living the same emotions that I felt at that point. Like you, I think about it every day. Hopefully we all bring it home with us. Somewhere a quote says that "the Camino begins when we return from the Camino."

Thanks for a great sharing!

I must have walked a day or two behind you, this brought me back many great memories. Thank you so much for sharing, Angie!
Buen camino. <3
