Yay, go tortoise! :D
Before you start walking, take the time to cross the bridge in Porto and visit the Port wine cellars, you can get awesome degustations for like 10 euro.
This is such a gastronomically awesome trail, you will love it!

You will be starting 6 days behind us. We leave Porto on the 12th, but we are doing short stages so hopefully we will meet you along the way. Which route are you planning on taking?

Go Andy! Hope you have at least as much fun as you had on the Camino Frances. How's your Portoguese?

On previous Camino's I spent a lot of time face booking or blogging each day's events. Next month on my Primitivo walk my cell phone will be completely off hopefully for the entire time I am walking. I am going to focus all my energies into talking to as many fellow pilgrims as possible. I just want to avoid the 'harness' of any technology to the greatest extent I can. I am kind of excited by the prospect of this.
