Hilarious. What other impractical inventions will they think of next! In fact it didn't seem to mention the weight - only the price!

Weight: Small 2lbs/13oz, Medium 2lbs/15 oz, Large 3lbs/1oz, X-Large 3lbs/3oz

It's actually not that bad, particularly for someone who was already planning on carrying a tent for emergency purposes. Plus the tent and bag part detach so you can remove them if you just want to wear the jacket.

I've seen weirder and more impractical inventions for sure!

Hey, I'm all for sleeping naked. However, doing it outside with no protection is generally not a good idea.

Personally, I think in most cases, using a camping hammock makes more sense than carrying a tent. Depending on how the camino goes for me I may do another long walk next year and use a hammock. Lighter, more versatile, more comfortable, less impact on the environment and, in general more options on where to camp. I'll likely use one like this.

Wow looks great but I don't think it's practical for the Camino lol. Looks like a sleeping liner for me and a mat if I need to rough it. I'm Scots so you will probably see me sleeping on door ways lol

Yeah, it's not something I'd use on the Camino. At least not the CF. So how miserable is Scotland going to be at the end of December/beginning of January? I'm excited to go but terrified of the weather. lol

Scotland's weather is fine. You do not need any special clothing believe me. One day it can be warm next it can be cold. If you're planning on coming over I will gladly show you sites
