Jail/prison in Triacastella?

Frances (May 2005), Norte (May 2006), Vezelay (2007).
Is there or has there been in the old days a (old?) prison or jail for pelgrims in Triacastella??
Someone told me for sure but I did not knew it.........

yes, though it no longer exists. One version of the story is that it was for pilgrims who misbehaved, another that it was for vagrants pretending to be pilgrims. Why these should have been a particular problem in Triacastela, I don't know ;-)
