I met a wonderful pilgrim named James (Tresori?)from New Orleans on the CF in 2016. He was 84 years old, walking the Way from SJPdP to SdC by himself, carrying his own pack, staying in albergues. I have tried to email him a few times, wondering how he is going, but the email I have doesn't seem to work. I am back on the CF now with my parents and remembering and marvelling again at James' feat. Does anyone of or keep in contact with James?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hello,

I am friends with his daughter-in-law. I will let her know that you are asking about him.

My husband & I start our first Camino in two week- CF from SJPdP to SDC. Getting excited!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Hi Jerilyn,

Thankyou so much, that would be great. He certainly left an impression - what an inspirational man and his story is probably one of the reasons why my parents decided to give the Camino a go.

Best wishes for your own Camino. I hope it is all you dream of :)

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hi Katie,
Happy Easter I hope you are having a good Camino.
I received a call from my son Thursday night saying that a friend of my daughter in law saw your blog and knew that it was me. I was over joyed hearing about you.
I have been well and planning another trip this year but having trouble getting thing together. In 2017 I walked the Camino Portuguese from Porto to Santiago. I still have a picture you emailed to me when we were on the trail, I attached a Christmas greeting to it that same year but it didn’t go through. I would like to keep in touch hesitate posting my email address.
Buen Camino, James

James! It is so wonderful to connect with you! I have no idea what happened to my email....
I am so pleased to hear of your continuing travels - I also walked from Porto to Santiago in 2017 - what a shame I missed you!

I saw that you emailed me but I'm having trouble finding it again - as soon as I do, I will reply.

Buen camino :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hello James,

I am the friend of your daughter in law. My husband and I will begin the Camino Frances in one week. We are nervous & excited at the same time. I will certainly think of you when I need encouragement. I hope to meet you one day to share Camino stories.

This amazing thread is why I love the Forum.
I would never have thought a post into the void would come up with so many connections, but there you are.
Buen camino, Jerilyn, Katie, and (hopefully this year) James!
