Camino Frances Roncesvalles to Sahagun Oct 2016
Sahagun to SDC April 2017 Burgos to SDC April 2018
Greetings all. I had to cancel my October hike and was going through some withdrawal from not being on the Camino. I have decided to be on the Frances for a couple of weeks in January. I have some questions concerning that time on the Camino. I am wondering if I could get some feedback from those who have walked in January. This will be my fourth walk and so I am not a "newbie", but have walked in the past in either October or April.

I am fine with the weather and fewer pilgrims but am a little concerned that, when checking out Gronze etc. There seems to be a lot of accommodation closed at the end of October. Have those of you who have walked the Frances in December any tips ie: "there was always something open if I did some research and stayed in larger towns" or "I had some difficulties and had to walk a long way some days to get a spot to sleep. I am adaptable and feel as long as this isn't super difficult, I will be fine. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

That should have been walked in January and not December.

Anyone have personal knowledge of a reasonable hotel, in the vicinity of the Camino, in Pamplona. Hotel Eslava, where I usually stay is closed for Chistmas in the first week of Jan.
