In October 2019, the first Camino week in Croatia marked the beginning of signposting for the Croatian Camino routes leading to Santiago de Compostela. The next such event was planned for in April. Since it's not currently possible to do it in person, we decided to do it online.
During this week you'll be able to use your computers, laptops and smartphones to experience the Camino through
– multimedia story , "live" each day, with images, vide, voice-over, music, ....
– interactive visualizations of daily routes
– sights and sounds from town and attractions on the route
– testimonials of pilgrims who walked the Camino
– Camino lessons, stories and legends ... and more
You'll be collecting e-stamps in your e-credential (pilgrim passport) and at the end of a six-day virtual Camino tour you'll get a e-Compostela. Your original Credential and Croatian Compostela will be waiting for you at the Tourist office at the city of Krk, when travel restrictions are lifted.
This is a new experience for all of us, so we apologize in advance for any shortcomings in the event production.
But we do have an earnest desire to help you enjoy at least part of the Camino experience that is denied in the current situation, and we plan to do it to the best of our ability.
