Hi there, we are planning to walk the camino from the last 100km Frances route (Sarria), not sure July will be too hot to walk. Anyone has had experience to share please, thank you. Yoen
When I've been on the Camino in July and August in Galicia there has been a wide range of temperatures and weather types. From plus 30 degrees in August 2018 to very cold and wet low teen temperatures. Best to plan for all eventualities and take something warm, waterproof and lots of sunscreen with a hat. Buen Camino.
In Santiago de Compostela during July average daily high temperatures increase from 73°F to 76°F and the fraction of time spent overcast or mostly cloudy decreases from 28% to 22%.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Warm to hot, slightly chance of rain.
I walked in July 2019 and had temperatures up to 38°C and two days of rain (behind Grañon) and on the day of arrival in SdC (pouring down).

..all packed and still 24 hours before I start my journey...train to Gatwick, flight to Bilbao, bus to Pamplona the taxi with others to SPDPfor night of 23rd...so what can I do now??
New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
