Hi all,
Well I'm off on the Camino Frances at the end of the week and have a few questions:
I’m hearing of quite a few friends of friends who are also going on the route in June and as I’m only from the small island of Ireland and hearing of so many going from here alone, I’m thinking the route may be very busy. So, should I bother with the extra weight of an air mattress? Will I ultimately use it enough?
I’ve also got two other questions:
I have a maximum of 30 walking days available and was planning to start from Pamplona. Would it be too much to try to complete the whole phase from St. Jean Pied de Port within this timeframe? I do need to allow for two rest days and are wary of getting caught up in physically completing the route and getting little else out of it. Or maybe it’s achievable without any undue pressure in this timeframe?
Finally, mobile phone or not?
Any advice on the above would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pauline
