Just bought tickets

Hi everyone

I'm super excited, I just bought by ticket to Paris and plan to start my walk from SJPDP on the 28th or 29th of September. I have the whole month of October off from work so I'll have about 35 days to complete the camino.

Oh, I have stumbled upon this and hope that it works. I am setting off for the Camino Frances on 29th August - next thursday - and will fly to Bilbeo. I believe that I can get a bus from Bilbao to Burgos where I intend to start the walk. Can I get a bus from the Airport or near the airport? Do you have any idea how much it will cost and should I book a ticket in advance? Help!

Great....congratulations on committing to your journey! I leave St Jean about a week ahead of you so we probably wont meet...but who knows!! Hope you have a truly inspiring journey.

Hi Mary! I took the train Bilbao to Burgos last time. Leaves right from the middle of downtown Bilbao.It's a lovely comfy reasonably price trip. Great scenery. From memry about 3 hours. Might be worth checking out.

Sarah from the UK I too will be setting off on the 29th September! I have a blue Osprey pack with a Union Jack badge and a Forum badge. Hope to say hello! I'm only going as far as Burgos this time will return in April to complete my walk to Santiago, Finisterre and Muxia.
I'm excited and scared all at once!?!
