Or maybe like the Grateful Dead followers.
Or people who have lived on communes.

People who were at Woodstock in 1969 can say "I was there" and they feel a comradery.

People who walk the Camino can say and feel the same.
It makes you part of a family.

Yes anniesantiago, just know how you feel.as I've said before,it's like greeting someone you've never met before with a shell around their necks and greeting them like a long lost friend--the conversation just flows doesn't it!! Or waving to someone with a camino sticker on the back window with a crazy smile on your (my) face too!! Yes, I have the shell around my neck and the sticker on the back window of the car!!
