Planning a mini Camino Frances in September. My voucher for Iberia expires in September so we will keep our fingers crossed.
Sarria to Santiago de Compostella. Not sure what will be opened so we booked private rooms that can be canceled. Will be a different experience with Covid, but always an adventure.

Good for you, did you have to request an extention? I assumed I had to use mine, at least no one told me different. So I have booked my return from Santiago in case it should be possible to go to Spain in the first place. If not, at least I tried. It will be worth the ticket cost just to have something to hope and plan for and daydream about.

Looks like there will be a bunch of us here doing some walking on Caminos in September. SJPdP to Burgos for me.

I am booked on a flight to Barcelona, arriving 9/27. After a day there, I plan to to walk 17 ish days from Le Puy and then join a friend in Ponferrada to walk the Invierno into Santiago.
We shall see what develops in the intervening 5 months...but, I am very hopeful.
Of course, at the end, one can find me in line at Casa Marcelo

Hoping to finally start my first camino on September 7th. I’m quite optimistic that conditions will improve enough by then to be able to start.

I hope so too. Maybe I am too optimistic but I think it will be possible to walk then, and even earlier.

My wife and I take an overnight flight from Indianapolis to Madrid and will arrive Sept 14. We'll spend one night each in Madrid, Pamplona and St Jean, then begin our fourth camino frances Friday, Sept 17th. We've both had two shots of the Pfizer vaccine. Reservations in private hotels / albergues every night. We'll use Jako trans for backpack transport every night. Bob
