Kindle Walking Guide to the VDLP

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Amazon is a little unclear, but it appears there is an update due this month. I'd make sure you get the 2014 version. I used Kelley's book in 2013 and even then parts of it were out of date.

I have this download, the CSJ guide and JIRIT's recent updated notes, all 3 should suffice.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
This book is by Gerald Kelly and it looks pretty good to me.
You can download it to your iPhone Kindle and take it along.
He has several tips on the section I plan to walk that look helpful.
Also gives info on banks, restaurants, etc.
Only $5 on amazon.com for the kindle edition

I had the Camino Frances one on my kindle. It's cheap and contained all the relevant info I needed.

Hi Texaloha,

can you elaborate? What is good about it, and where/how can we get our hands on it? ;-)

Thanks,

I like this app for its pictures and detailed descriptions. The maps are ok. I have also emailed the author who is a travel writer. She brings the route to life

For all those interested I am currently walking the Vía de la Plata and am posting updates in the 'live' thread Vía de la Plata in February. The route is well marked but there are a couple of trouble spots. Once home at the end of February I will write more about albergues/prices in the thread about accommodations with updates to Jirit's list.

I don't have a guide with me this time around but in 2011 I did.

Have fun preparing!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
