La Fabrica (now how to get to Burgos)

Week+ out from my Camino and was wondering if anyone has a contact email for La Fabrica? So far we (3 of us) are arriving in St Jean on the 21st., then to Pamplona via bus. Then to Burgos by train and then the walking starts. Tardajos semed like a good half day start but is seems Bookings/Hotels.com only list rooms, not bunks. I am still stateside and calling is expensive. So if anyone has a contact e-mail I would appreciate it very much.

Now to go through my daily pack rearrangement!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
When walking November 2014 soon after leaving Burgos it began to drizzle then really pour. Totally soaked and cold at Tardajos I stopped at La Fabrica an old flour mill then recently repurposed to be an albergue/hostal. It was a GREAT find.

Each heated albergue dorm room holds 4 pilgrims with fresh linens on the bunks and a sleek toilet/shower adjacent. My chatty dorm-mate was a Japanese tour guide from Osaka; we were the only pilgrims.
Regular tourist accommodation was also available. The busy ground floor bar/dining room was popular with locals as well as visiting hunters and the food was copious, tasty and good value. All in all La Fabrica was a pleasant stop before starting up the Meseta.

Good luck and Buen camino!

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to staying there!

Contacted La Fabrica but in trying to make train reservations to get there, can't seem to find any travel from Pamplona on Sunday the 23rd. Is there a Sunday train? Should I take a bus, instead? Also trying to make a bus reservation from St. Jean to Pamplona for the day before but it says call the vendor, which only speaks French, not English or Spanish. All very confusing trying to get to Burgos so I can begin walking!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi, Lurch,

In your OP you just mentioned that you are coming to SJPdP. On foot?
And then you want to hop from SJPdP to Burgos?
Sorry I have a bit of problem understanding your "problem" ;)

Dulles to CDG, flight to Biarritz, train to St. Jean, night there, bus to Pamplona, train (hopefully) to Burgos. Bad knee means I have to cut back on the distance hiked on the Camino to 10-15 daily. Burgos to Santiago...25 walking days...have to git’er done!

Why complicate it so much with getting to SJPdP and Pamplona? Just go directly to Burgos from Biarritz:

By bus you'll see some of the Norte and most of the Via de Bayona.
