Looks like I might need to take a bus Saturday late afternoon/early evening to Leon. Does anyone know the time of the last bus from Mansilla de las Mulas to Leon? Thanks.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Portia - check the ALSA website - http://www.alsa.es

It looks as though the last bus is at 20h50 and arrives in Leon 21h15 and costs 1.45 euro.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Kelly: not until after tomorrow (2 weeks from when I leave!). We meet with the surgeon tomorrow to talk about options and timing. So right now I am preparing for two different treks! I may stay in Mansilla as I have a pretty good distance that day (this is on trek #1 if my husband is able to meet me in Santiago) but I wanted to know what my options were because the next day is Sunday. Besides, I just might be ready for a hotel stay right about then! Trek #2 (if he can't come) I will probably walk into Leon.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I also thought to take bus from Mansilla to Leon but actually walk not so bad - certainly not as bad as trek into Burgos- anyhow if you take the more beautiful route from Shahagun and stay in Hermanllos( ?spellling) as opposed to road route to El Burgo de Romero - again forgive spelling -there is a bus timetable in albeurge, really the route is so beautiful and so few took it I felt so priveleged to walk this section - so take the way less travelled, enjoy the countryside and the bus will be there as you need it - very regular timetable! Buen Camino, enjoy!!

Thank you, just noted to take the road less traveled. I'm planning to skip Albergue in Hermanillos though. :)

Hi All,

I know this is a very old thread, and hoping to get more information. From the ASLA site I cannot see any other bus options other than an 8am -ish bus leaving Mansilla. Has anyone recently traveled by bus from here to Leon that can confirm that there's afternoon options?

Thanking you in advance for the assistance.

Regards,
Elizabeth
