One of our group is unable to walk the 20 km to Santiago tomorrow. But she wants to meet her husband and son and the rest of us and walk the last few kms into the cathedral.
Soon after you cross the bridge and enter the city of Santiago, there is a big green arch type thing with statues of important pilgrims embedded in it. My memory is that a modern pope was related to the construction. I am pretty sure it's near the bar called Bodeguilla de San Lazaro.
I have been trying to find a picture of this arch /monument but I can't. It would be a big help so everyone would know where to gather to meet for our last kms together to the cathedral.
Any help with an image or with more specific info would be helpful.
