what one last minute sage piece of advice or wisdom would you share with a pilgrim just leaving for Camino? Imagine that your good friend is beginning the walk the next day and you are sitting around with a good glass of whatever toasting your friend and sending him/her off with your best wishes and thoughts, what is that last piece of wisdom you share.....

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
Go at your own pace. Dont be tempted to go faster than you are comfortable with for fear of losing the friends you have made. The people who are a day behind you are most likely just as friendly and companionable and you will be glad to have to have met them too. More than likely you will see the people who went ahead of you time and time again over the coming weeks.
Its YOUR camino so do your own thing!

Have a wonderful camino,

Laura

PS I second the clean socks thought too!
