The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
My first Camino I didn't get into SJPdP until about 10:00 pm or so after taking the train there from Paris. I had made no prior reservations anywhere, and didn't even know where the albergues, etc were as I had no guidebook or map. I wandered around and went to the first hotel that looked like it was still open, the Central Hotel. Thank goodness they were and as I was so tired I didn't care what the cost was at that point. Very gracious lady working there booked me in a room, and I crashed until about 9:00 am the next morning.
