I received my credential from the American Pilgrims on the Camino a few month back and now I can't find it. I thought it was in my backpack, but when I repacked today it was not in there. I leave tomorrow and have no idea what I did with it.

I have a day in Pamplona before I head to SJPdP. I assume (HOPE) I can get one in Pamplona. If not I can get one in SJPdP, correct? Please tell me I have not ruined my plans. I feel so foolish right now.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
You can get a credential in Pamplona or SJPdP! If you get one in Pamplona, it will be a Spanish one. If you wait until SJPdP, it will be a French credential.

I have got credentials in both places - no problem!! Don't feel foolish. Many pilgrims get their credentials at the beginning of their caminos.

wishing you a wonderful way!

No worries and no problem! Have a great Camino!

No worries. Easy to get a credential in SJPdP. Both times I went to the pilgrim's office there was no line and I had the credential in about 10 minutes. It's a nice credential. Sturdy paper and lots of room for stamps. The volunteers that work in the pilgrim's office are very cool people.

You can also get a credential at the tourist office in SJPdP for 2 euros. It's nice, but not as sturdy.

It sounds like you have nothing to worrry about. All my travels begin with minor jitters. This is yours. Then you are underway and things get better and all the small things you worried about are revealed as ... small things.

Buen Camino

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Ha!
Don't worry. You'll be able to get a new PP in SJPdP and in many other places.
Mine filled up with stamps along the way - I got a second and filled it up, also!
You will find many pilgrims getting their PP at the "start" - Pamplona, SJPdP. Relax, you are in for a great adventure.
Buen Camino.

My partner and I started in Burgos and also got our credential in Burgos.
We did actually fill it up and went onto fill another one up.
This is what we both did with our credentials at the end of our Camino.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
In Pamplona you can get a credential at Albergue Jesus y Maria - the big albergue on Calle Compania, but probably best for you is when you get to St Jean at the Pilgrim's Office on the main street (Rue de la Citadel) in the old part of town. You should go there in any case because they are very friendly and helpful and can advise on weather conditions in the mountains on the way to Roncevalles, accommodation in St Jean and you can buy staffs and your shell there. As others have pointed out, there are also many places along the way where you can get another credential - ask at albergues, cathedrals, or tourist offices
