I will be flying from Atlanta, Georgia to Paris, France on Sunday May 28th leaving in the late afternoon and arriving in Paris early morning on the 29th! I'll most likely stay in Bayonne the 29th and hopefully get some sleep and then head to SJPDP early the next day and spend the day getting ready. So with that plan, I hope to be as refreshed as possible to begin my Day 1 of the Camino Frances on May 31st!

That's a couple of days after my CF start date many years ago. Walking at that time was absolutely beautiful. Spring flowers everywhere. Enjoy!

26/27 May Start
Hi All:
What a cool way to find support and encouragement! My plan is to start around 27May.
Did my VERY first training hike yesterday, (9October)...it was ummm...well....tough. Right now I cannot imagine hitting 25-30 km per day for 35 days. I guess that's why I'm training! I have included a turn around at my local winery, so that is great training incentive!

Please check in with me should you be starting at the end of May, early June!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Congratulations on starting to train. But you don’t have to walk 25 - 30 km per day. If needed take more time or walk a shorter Camino. And of course start slow. There will be plenty of peregrinos there - don’t worry.
Buen Camino

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
