Hi Everyone - I'll be leaving SJPP on April 20 - what a way to celebrate my birthday!! Is anyone else leaving this day and considering walking via Valcarlos?

I'm leaving St Jean the day before you, 19 April, and will be taking the lower route via Valcarlos. No doubt our paths will cross, save me some birthday cake! Buen Camino.

Hey Clive - would be great if you could post what you thought of the walk through to Valcarlos. I've heard that the trail used to be overgrown and a bit hard to find so hopefully it will be better now.
