Hi all my name is Dave .
My son , grandson and I are planning to cycle from Leon to Santiago. We would like to take our own gravel bikes but we can’t find a way to transport the plastic bike box from Leon to Santiago and collect it 10 days later . Anyone out there done a similar thing we’d much appreciate any advice or pointers. Cheers

I don’t know if this will help as I don’t know what your plastic bike box is. But last month I posted my bike in a strong cardboard bike box from my local Correos Office (Post Office) to the main Correos office in Seville. I caught the train to Seville (I live in Spain) and picked up my bike, reassembled it and started on the VDLP. The post office will keep a Package for 15 days. Here’s the link and look for Paq Bici https://www.correos.es/es/es/particulares/enviar/envios-nacionales/envio-de-bicicletas

Hi Dave,
You could consider transporting your bikes to Leon in a cardboard bike box. Fold up your box and place it in a recycling bin.
Cardboard bike boxes can be bought in the Correos Office in Santiago for €13.50.
We flew to Madrid in September and travelled by bus to Burgos, with the boxes. We booked the boxes with Alsa prior to going. Correos is on Rua do Franco, about 200m from the Cathedral.
We cycled on the roads to Santiago.

My sister bought a cardboard bike box from Coureos, and sent hers from Ponferada to Santiago through them.
They then sent it on to Paris.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Ivan. I believe I can rent two bikes through you between Burgos and Leon. Can you let me know if this is possible? I plan to arrive in Burgos on 11 May and start cycling the next day. Thanks
Plan to cycle between Burgos and Leon over three or four days. Are there any interesting detours between these two cities that would take up a 4th day?
