Light show and fireworks—July 24, 2018

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Wasn't it similar last year?
I think I watched it on-line and I remember those projections on the Consello.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Actually that has been the case since quite a few years. Felices fiestas, SY

2013 was the last year that the Cathedral itself was the backdrop, right around the time the scaffolding went up if I remember correctly. It hasn't quite been the same since, but the show from the park with the kids in tow is still a tradition.

Thanks for the post Laurie, the Spanish do fantastic fireworks and this display brought back delightful memories for me of unexpected festivals of fire in villages along the way.

So does either of you know why the show is no longer projected against the Cathedral? I had assumed that it was done against the Concello building because of all the scaffolding on the Cathedral and expected it to return to the cathedral when the scaffolding came down. Wrong again.

BTW, I have always called that building the Rajoy building, am I wrong about that too?

The fireworks woke me up. My volunteer flat window overlooks the Cathedral.

So when my room started lighting up, I awoke and shuffled over to the window. I had a ‘million dollar’ view...

As soon as the fireworks were done, I ambled back to bed...

Nice show!
