My plans for my pilgrimage are taking shape and I now know that I will be only able to spend 22 days walking in total. I will have to leave Santiago at a set date to return home. So my question is: What do I leave out and are the bus links between towns good enough to rely on so that I can skip what I need to?

Join our full-service guided tour of the Basque Country and let us pamper you!
Depending on which camino you walk, you might not have to skip any parts.
If you want to walk the camino frances and start at Burgos and walk to Santiago.
If you want to walk parts of the start of the Frances, you could start at St Jean and walk 11 days to Santo Domingo, get a bus to Ponferrada and walk 10 days to Santiago.
Or, start at Roncesvalles or Pamplona.
You could start in Oviedo and walk the Primitivo to Santiago (369km) and then on to Finisterre (90km)
Whichever you choose, have a wonderful walk!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
