These include some new albergues and some tradtional. All can be reserved ahead, most will take pilgrims with vehicle backup and some will allow you to spend more than one night. The generally cost up to 9 euro per night.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I can't seem to get the pdf to download. :( But I have stayed at several of these albergues & found all of them to be clean & neat. The best was in Boadilla, the one with the very welcoming hosts & swimming pool! Doesn't look like much on the outside, but once you go through the gates, wowzers!

I did stay at the one in Puente La Reina & the only downside was the long hike up the hill to get there. :( I nicknamed it the "mini" Alto del Perdon for that reason.

My blog has reviews of the ones I stayed at between Logrono & Leon, so feel free to check them out if you're interested in staying in one of these network albergues.

Hi Kelly,
If your computer is slow, it will take ages to download. I am busy updating the word doc I created from last year's brochure. As soon as I have completed it I will attach it to a post. I have found a couple of errors with websites (.com instead of .es) but will mention these when I post it.

Here is a word document list of the albergues on the Red de Albergues' brochure.

The following albergues have websites that are not listed on the brochure.
Lorca
LA BODEGA DEL CAMINO
http://personales.ya.com/bodegacamino/index.html

Portomarin –
O Mirador - web: http://www.omiradorportomarin.com/

Arzua:
http://www.albergueultreia.com
info@albergueultreia.com

The following websites are incorrect:

http://www.viatoris.es (not .com)

San Nicolás del Real Camino
“LAGANARES”
http://www.alberguelaganares.es (not .com)

These do not open:

Hi Sil, thanks for going to all the trouble of retyping the list. Just what I need for my final list making myself! I've managed to condense 3 guide books onto 6 pages of A4 paper - saving myself many grammes of weight! :D I've listed the towns, distances, albergue types in each town, tips from other forum members about the route, or albergue or town.....etc. Only 9 weeks to go!!!! Thanks again for all your trouble, cheers Jane :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
That is great Jane! Perhaps you can share your mini-guide with others on the Forum?

..and don't forget The Peaceable Kingdom, the "word of mouth" private place in Moratinos. It's not listed, except in the CSJ Guide. phone 664 539 188.

As someone who has enjoyed the wonderful hospitality in the Peaceable Kingdom, I add my hearty recommendation!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hi Reb,
Would you like me to add an email address for the Peaceable Kingdom to my list?

Hi sil,I definately will give my list out to others on the forum, once i get back from my camino. I'm too embarrassed to do it before in case it is horribly wrong! Hopefully it won't be, but no doubt will need a bit of changing once I've done the walk myself. I probably will post my packing list before I go - so far it's weighing in at under 8kg so I'm quite pleased with that. Jane :)

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
We stayed at the albergue in Boadilla also- Boadilla del Camino and would highly recommend it. It seemed like a 5 star hotel to me!!! Gorgeous gardens, extremely clean and very cool rooms with bunks, fantastic food and wonderful people. I´m actually thinking about bringing me husband (not a walker) here sometime and would definitely stay there.
