Hello everyone,
I´m sorry it´s taken a while to get my blog up and running.

I´m currently in Almendralejo which is slightly off the Camino between Villafranca and Torremegia. It´s all going well and you can read what´s happening on my blog:

spanishfootsteps.blogspot.com

Because I can´t read Spanish Im not certain that this web address will get you straight there but you will find on the blogger site.

By for now,

Andrew.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
I've had to cut short my camino due to a recurring ankle problem. However, I had a great time on the VdlP from Sevile and hope that my blog conveys a little of this. I'll be doing a bit of physiotherapy and will be back on the camino when I'm ready.

I've added photos and text to my blog which was unavoidably neglected while walking (I think shorter days would help) and in the next couple of days I hope to finish it while it is still fresh in my mind.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I enjoyed your blog and photos! So sorry about your ankle. I had similar problems my first Camino. I'm sure you will return and complete the Way! We all do...

Hi, Andrew,

I'm sorry to hear about the unanticipated ending of your VDLP. I had something similar happen to me a couple of years ago -- in Merida my heel started to hurt and by Caceres I had to call it quits. But I went back to Sevilla this past May and made it just fine -- it was glorious and well worth it!

Good luck with the physiotherapy and keep your eyes on a repeat Camino.
