I have ran into several people who have Covid or a weird flu that is going around so take care pilgrims.
Very wise advice. It's so easy to relax around other people on the camino. And there are certainly people with sniffles who are putting their heads in the sand about needing a test, and spreading covid in the process.

by the end of those five days I should be ready to walk.
Excellent news! By then no doubt you will need it!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
By the way there is a new bakery on the way into the main village of Los Arcos. It is on the long stretch of Calle mayor and you pass right by it. It will be on the right hand side and she has several vegan and vegetarian options. I think it is also a good place to get breakfast in the morning. I was surprised that it was not very busy this morning but I think that is because most people don’t want to backtrack the one city block to get there but I think it looked worth it. Her pastries look wonderful!

Today my group is in Burgos. It is very busy here. There are young people dressing up the steps of the cathedral. If you’re planning on being in Burgos in three or four days from now there’s going to be a festival of flowers so you’re really lucky. The choo-choo train did not make it through Cove it so it is no longer here. That was kind of a disappointment to me because I always enjoy that juju ride.We are staying in Maison Del Cid right by the cathedral. One of our rooms was broken, whatever that means, so they gave our couple an apartment. I’m having lunch on the terrace now watching the people walk by and it’s just a beautiful day. Buen Camino, Annie

My blog

I have run into several people from the Forum which has been a lot of fun. My arm is much better though I still cannot hold a walking stick but I plan on walking at least part of the way from Astorga to Rabanal day after tomorrow.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I’ve just caught up with this thread and your Camino so far, Annie. What an adventure you’ve been having! I’m glad to see your arm is improving and that you hope to recommence walking the day after tomorrow. Thanks for your wonderful updates and Buen Camino henceforth! I hope it embraces you entirely.

One of my pilgrims has a very swollen knee and so I taxi’s her into Molinaseca this morning. Lots of places are open here and there are many pilgrims coming down the mountain. Please walk the Camino and do not walk the road. We almost hit several pilgrims walking three abreast down the road. That is just crazy. Also bicycles two abreast. Please go in single file facing the traffic if you are walking but better just to stay on the Camino not the road.

There was a very lovely reunion here in Molinaseca this morning. I’ll post the video. This is so common as you keep running into people that you know and have met on the Camino. As you know we make a lasting worldwide friendships and this is one between a man named Wim from the Netherlands and his Korean Camino friend. Stay watching until the very end. It was during the noon Angelus bells

So I tried to post the video. I waited until it loaded 100% and then it told me I needed to accept cookies, which is crazy because I’ve been on this site for years. Anyway I’m going to go post a video on my blog and if you would like to see it you can see it there
