Local Buses - Sahagun to Burgos?

yes...
Hello folks - my plans are changing like the weather and there is now a good chance that my original walk along the CF is back on... but I need to think about getting back to Burgos from my stopping point.

I'm planning to walk about half-way along the route... perhaps somewhere around Carrion but before Sahagun? Is there a local bus service (or train) that runs from this area into Burgos? I know pilgrims were busing from various points along the path... is this just careful planning or is there a more regular service.

As always your thoughts and ideas are very welcome

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
A daily 1645 bus from Sahagun to Burgos from ALSA.

Another site shows a 1710 daily bus from Sahagun.

ooh - I think I may have answered this because I've found a thread asking almost the very same thing! And it's prompted me to remember that the 1st May is a bank holiday. I think I may catch the bus in Carrion on the 30th April and head into Burgos and stay the night before heading home.

Does this make sense to those in the know?
