Beginning the Camino Frances Sarria to Compostela, the week after Holy Week this year. Can anyone give me some advice on the best route from London - is it best to travel to Compostela and get the bus back to Sarria ?
Any advice on Accommodation before hand or just arrive?
This is my first time so any advice I would be really grateful.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
You could fly Vueling from Heathrow to A Coruna, then take the train to Sarria.

It's barely a 2 hour train journey from/to either Santiago de Compostela/Sarria. I've done it both ways.

Alternatively Easyjet fly to SdeC from Gatwick, and RyanAir from Stansted.

You can also fly to Madrid and catch the train from Madrid Charmatin to Sarria and then fly back from Santiago.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
