London to Coruña or Asturias.

On previous trips to the Camino I’ve booked direct flights back to the UK at short notice from both Coruña and Asturias (Oviedo) airports. Trying to arrange flights next summer, but nothing direct is available. Is it just that the schedules aren’t published until nearer the time or will I need to arrange something else?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Maybe fly into Pamplona? Easy bus to St Jean from there if you want to start the Frances at St Jean.

I haven't seen anything that that direct flight to A Coruña being eliminated. I'm suspecting that the direct flights just aren't published yet. I've noticed when looking in advance for that same Heathrow - A Coruña flight that the direct isn't available until a few months prior to the flight date.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I think the sad fact is that there no longer are direct flights from/to either A Coruña or Asturias and London. I have previously flown to both with Iberia and easyJet, but neither those, or any other airline I can find, flies either route. I'd love to be proved wrong!

That’s what I thought might be the case. I’m wanting to get to Coruña or Oviedo so I can take the narrow gauge train to Grado.

I've been checking flights from AST to LGW for next summer. Vueling flies direct, but only on Tuesdays and Fridays. Aer Lingus also has a direct flight from Santiago de Compostela to Dublin.

That'll teach me to rely on Skyscanner.

Further research shows that Vueling fly daily from Heathrow to A Coruña up to 28 March 2020 - I assume that they'll continue doing so but just haven't timetabled it yet.

Yeah, it had me worried too when that direct wasn't showing up during my travel planning - I also think it's just that Vueling doesn't publish so far out. It's a popular flight!

Here is Aena website for A Coruña and Asturias airports. The websites indicate airlines that provide service and destinations that they connect to. Often there are not flights in winter ... and so its too early to find them for next summer.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Thanks for the info, I also looking for direct flights. Most posters on this forum seem to advise pre-booking transfers from the airport, and I just wanted to see if this is necessary? Do I need to pre-book a Taxi from Coruna Airport? Wouldn't it just be cheaper to get a taxi at the airport?

If you look up an airport in Wikipedia they list all the direct flights to and from that airport. That's how I found the Vueling flight to Oviedo from Gatwick. It turns out I'll fly though Madrid anyway but it was worth checking. I'm still shocked I'm flying to the start of the Primitivo!

I flew to Santiago de Compostela and caught the bus to A Coruña.
