Long Walk Adventure - Final Go

Just over a week to go and I will be walking the Camino Frances through to Finisterre. What started as a crazy idea to walk through Switzerland, France and Spain in one go...is about to be completed and I'm really looking forward to walking this Camino.

While walking it in one go was not possible due to an unforeseen illness so much good has come out of my interrupted journey...most important of all was meeting some new Camino friends.

I know there will be many differences from the routes I have been fortunate to walk so far not the least of which will be the very significant increase in number of pilgrims walking the entire Camino route...2 on Via Jacobi, none on Via Gebennensis and maybe 10 on The Puy route. The physical challenge will be different and the beautiful Spanish language...well I have tried to learn a bit but...hopefully I'll bumble my way through!

Many thanks for Forum members who regularly contribute their thoughts and knowledge to others...without this information I would not have even started walking.

Maybe our paths will cross...if they do hopefully I will still have a Canadian lapel pin to offer...I know weight is an issue however it has been so much fun to thank others in this very small way.

Buen Camino All
