The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I leave for my camino on September 14th. I plan on flying from Vancouver to Pamplona, and then taking a shuttle or taxi from Pamplona to SJPDP.
I did it all through expedia, it was fairly inexpensive. It doesn't have to be complicated.

1202 Pamplona Airport

See the destinations tab for airline services.

1203 Pamplona Bus Station

See the 'Rutas' tab for bus services. The bus station is underground and does not have a large above ground presence.

1004 Saint Jean Pied de Port to Pamplona

ALSA provides ~seasonal~ bus service through its subsidiary Conda from Pamplona to St Jean Pied de Port. The bus travels via Roncesvalles and Valcarlos. The bus returns to Pamplona after arriving in SJPdP.

The bus stops at the junction of Route d'Arneguy and Route d'Uhart.

At time of writing the bus from Pamplona to SJPdP runs daily 1000 13 June to 31 August 2014, 1430 1 June to 30 Sept 2014, 1730 17 March to 30 September 2014. The schedule is typically updated not more than a month in advance of changes. Use the ALSA international tab and click the 'query without date' button.

This is excellent info! Thanks bchikergirl!

My easiest way is to fly to London Heathrow, Heathrow to Biarritz in one day. Stay overnight in Biarritz in the old town. Walk or taxi to the train station (5 trains a day to SJPP). Leave Biarritz about 8am, make a quick train change in Bayonne after about 10 minutes, take train SJPP arriving at about 10:00. Then I go to the pilgrims' office to pick up my credencial, have lunch, go buy supplies( a few dried fruits and nuts and maybe a bread and cheese). Walk up the hill to Orisson where I have a reservation and relax for the rest of the day, meeting pilgrims and eating good food and drinking lots of coffee or whatever.
Buen camino
