Looking for an American pilgrim in the Logroño area at the moment (found!)

Hello everyone. I'd like to find Patricia Susan Studer, who must be in the Logroño section of the Camino at the moment.

She was in my albergue last Monday and she told me how she had lost her iPhone in the bus between Roncesvalles and Zubiri 3 days before that. I called the bus company to ask wether they had found it, but they hadn't. I asked Patricia to write me her email address in case by any chance the phone was found, but somehow I've lost the little piece of paper where the email address was written!!!

Miraculously, today someone from the bus company called me to say the iPhone had been found, so I'm desperately looking for Patricia! She was really sad to have lost the phone because of all the photos she had in it!, plus she had been left without the chance to take any more photos of her Camino, and of course completely incommunicated for the rest of it (I suggested she looked for a "locutorio" or public library over the next few days to at least go online and send an email to her closest relatives in the USA to let them know she was without the phone). I know she was also considering buying another phone, though she wasn't sure if that would be a basic phone to just make calls, or another iPhone so she could continue taking photos and being communicated...

I'm guessing the phone can't be turned on because throughout the last days it must have run out of battery and now, when charged, it probably needs a pin code to switch it on; if it could be turned on we could try and call some contacts to see if they know how to get a hold of her while still in Spain...

So, if any one happens to meet this woman on their Camino, currently one or two stages before or after Logroño, please ask her to contact me, so I can put her in contact with the bus company that has her phone.

(and before you say it: yes, I have already sent her a facebook message, but I fear she won't go online for days or weeks, until it's maybe too late; plus, if she and I are not friends in facebook, I believe my message won't be too conspicuous to her when she does log on to facebook and might not even see it; I have also messaged her two daughters and who I believe to be her sister in facebook, but for the same reason they may never see my messages, or see them when it's too late)

I really would like to get the phone back to her 😊 Thank you!

Hello @Juanma,
I just want to say what a kind gesture you made in locating Susan's phone by checking with the bus company and are now in the process of attempting to contact her so it can be returned. I hope all turns out well. You are an example of what being a "Camino Angel" is all about! You just made my day!

Thank you for your kind words @Camino Chrissy !

I want to let everyone know that I found Patricia today! 😊 With the help of the bag transfer company, they knew where she was staying today, so I called to that albergue and they called me back once they reached her. Now she has to get the bus company to ship the phone to her somehow, I'm sure they'll figure out a way to do it.

Thanks to everyone!

PS: I will now delete her photo from my first message in this thread
