Via de la plata from Sevilla to Cáceres - future... would like to finish Via de La Plata or walk the Camino Frances
Hello!

My name is Annemarie. I am 63 years old and I am in very good condition. I come from Antwerp and want to walk the Via de la Plata in the beginning of June. Two years ago I already walked the part from Sevilla to Cáceres. I am open for suggestions. Beginning in Granada/Cordoba/Cáceres/Salamanca/Madrid... would be fine for me. I have a lot of time and am very flexible. I am looking for nice company to walk with. I am independent and do not mind to walk alone, but it is always nicer to share travel experiences.

Does anyone also start walking around that period? Or are you looking for some company? Please let me know, I would be very happy.

Greetings,

Annemarie

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
@Annemaria Welcome to the forum!

At the beginning of June there should still be a fair amount of pilgrims on the Plata. There are also those that start in Salamanca or Zamora.

The Camino from Granada or Córdoba is much less frequently walked. Look at the separate section about the Mozárabe. Having done both I suggest that you continue on the Plata. I was totally alone for 16 days walking Granada-Mérida. A lovely Camino but maybe not what you are looking for if you would like some company at the end of the day.

Feel free to contact me should you like more information. I've done the Plata twice, last time in October 2014.

I'll be starting from Seville on Wednesday June 10th. So I may see you at some point :) I'm the one with the Aarnpack with the front boobs channelling Mary Poppins with my silver umbrella...

Hi annemarie , I am starting from barcelona and am open to the la plata ,i hear the frances route is crowded so i am looking for a nice walk without the fighting for rooms. I love company and i am very nice to be with. no problems and i am very well read if you like to visit. I do research on different topics like most people. I do like to learn plant identification along the way and taste some here and there. I am flexable . Is a guy ok for a walking buddy ? I am very good at making people feel secure. I was robbed in porto in the wee hours in a hotel whilst i was sleeping,caught the guy ,got the money and passport back and bopped the bad guy on the schnozzel. no guarentees next time though. I'll post a little more info later gotta go shawn
