Looking for tile souvenir

Time of past OR future Camino

Hello. I hope I have posted this in the correct place.

A friend of mine did the walk a few years ago and purchased a couple tiles as souvenirs. This past weekend she offered us her cottage to use and unfortunately my 2 yr old grabbed one of her tiles before I could and it broke. I feel horrible and want to purchase a replacement but have not been able to find this exact one. Does anybody know where I might find one? Any help would be appreciated.

A selection of Camino Jewellery
There are lots of shops along the Camino that sell these types of tiles. I have some at home though not this exact one.

If you are hoping to order online, maybe do a search for souvenir shops in Santiago?
Though I asked a couple if they could mail things to me and they said No.

It's a nice clean break. Maybe just mend it ;)
The crack will add character...........

Maybe @ivar could pop out and get one? :)

You could certainly glue it, although the glaze will likely make the join obvious. I bought a nice unglazed tile in Leon cathedral shop depicting a cockerel, taken from the famous cathedral frescoes. I packed and posted it home but when I opened it, it was broken along one side. No foul play, simply an accident, I glued the pieces back together and although the cracks could be seen, they added to the rusticity of the piece.

There's a shop in Pamplona that sells tiles and tons of other useful items for pilgrims. I'd have to ask my niece for the address. Maybe a Google search would find it.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The tile broke in such a way that it makes it look like the pilgrim is walking uphill. Since much of the way is uphill, the crack lends authenticity to the way. Glue it.

I can buy one for you here in Santiago and ship it to you if you like, just send me your address via private message. Buen Camino de la Vida, SY

PS Also send me the dimensions as I have seen them in different sizes ...

It's very considerate of you to try to replace it.
But, depending on how your friend feels about the item, a replacement might be less desirable than a repair. If it were mine, I'd treasure it with the crack and the knowledge that an inquisitive toddler was drawn to it.

Thank you for all the replies and SYates for your very generous offer. I have glued the broken one and am going to go with that for now. The glue line in the blue sections have all but disappeared and the crack in the white section is faint.

please send us a picture of the "improved" tile...it's definitely more valuable now with an extra story attached to it. In the only way he/she knew, I think your toddler year was breaking from tradition and committing to a future Camino.

And such a nice gesture from Syates..yeah!

Sorry for the delay. Here is the fix. I couldn’t find one small piece of the white. I may try to add some white to this. Haven’t decided.

the crack line definitely gives the image depth or a third dimension representing the uphill climb and the missing white chip reveals a rock along the path.
