Lost & Found Lost Apple Watch Alto Perdon

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances or Primitivo
This is a long shot, but I was just able to log back onto the Forum.

My Apple Watch fell off my arm somewhere between Cezur Menor and the base of Alto de Perdon on September 19. It's rose gold with a matching band. Not much use to anyone since it's locked.

I knew a watch would be a distraction on the Camino and must say I have settled into my Camino better without it. I'm philosophical.

I'm currently holed up in Burgos fora few days with tendinitis. If anyone has seen my watch, or knows someone who has, please feel free to reach out. If I get it back, it's going into the bottom of my pack until my Camino is done.

Thanks, Camino friends!

Was it that useless magnetic strap? I couldn't find my new Apple watch and used the "Find my " beeping feature on my iPhone whilst walking around the house. Fortunately a very faint wailing was heard from the depths of my hiking cupboard . Eventually after tossing things out all over the floor, one of my back packs was identified as the source. There it was deep ,deep down at the bottom of the water bladder compartment , where clearly the strap had caught and undone itself while I was removing the bladder.I would not have found this in all likelihood once the battery died..warning to any Apple watch users, DO NOT use the magnetic bands. Online there were stories of it falling off wrists during all kinds of activities. For caminoing I use a basic very flat cheap SWATCH that uses a conventional buckle . Doesnt matter if I lose it.
