Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Paul,

I walked this year from Lourdes to Santiago to Finisterre to Muxia.

I obtained my Credential (2 days before I started) at the Information Centre at the Basilica. They also gave me information but this was in French (which I do not know ...)

In the Sanctuaries area, just go to the "Forum" information centre and ask for a credencial, it will cost one or two euros. Both the Sanctuaries and the Forum are very easy to find.

Hi, this is the answer I got in 2008:
die credencial is verkrijgbaar in de Informatiedienst van het Heiligdom (gelegen vlak bij het gekroonde beeld op het grote bedevaartplein). Verantwoordelijke ervoor is Mr. Francis Dias, de verantwoordelijke van deze informatiedienst.
meaning: You can get your credencial at the information-service at the main square with the crowned statue.
The day I started in Lourdes, that square was filled with pilgrims to Lourdes. In such a way that I was unable to get to the information-service.
I got my Credencial at Asson, after my first day's walk.

Paul,

I am probably too late but if you should read this, I recommend you the albergue "La Ruche" (Rue de Pau) in Lourdes - it's only for 'jacobean' pilgrims, very warm welcome, great dinner and beautiful place just above the Sanctuary !

Another place not to miss is Arudy : in priest Pierre's house pilgrims are very welcome.

Bon chemin!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Lucky you. The route from Somport to Oloron is relatively easy, as you no doubt know by now. Then it is up, up, and after Somport, down down. But what beautiful countryside! (if the fog doesn't getcha!) With my recent questionraire (see Miscellaneous and Finsiterre/Muxia threads) I was really surprised to see that only 2% of pilgrims walk the Camino Aragones. And it is so GLORIOUS.
Buen Camino, Paul. Big envies at this end.
