luggage storage question

I'm sure this has been discussed a lot but wasn't sure if Covid maybe has changed things... I messaged Michael at Wise Pilgrim regarding luggage storage just to firm up details ( understood that he was doing this service in Santiago) but didn't receive a reply. Now I am wondering about using the Spanish postal service to store my suitcase in Santiago and mailing it there. My question is- does the suitcase have to be mailed there from somewhere in Spain or can I also mail it there from another country, possibly Portugal? Thanks for any help...

If you will be starting from Porto Tuitrans offers luggage transport directly to Santiago. I'm assuming that they also store it for you.
